Always forward-thinking, Gary is passionate about educating our clients on the intricacies of retirement planning. He specializes in advising corporations on their Qualified Plans as well as helping their employees prepare for retirement. When he’s not in the office, Gary enjoys anything that will get him outside, whether it’s gardening, running, hiking, bird-watching, cycling or flying. Little known fact: in 2014, Gary set a world altitude record with his electric ultralight! He’s also very involved in community organizations, including the Rotary Club of Greenville East and the City of Greenville’s Green Ribbon Advisory Committee-Mobility Ad Hoc, which works to bring greener forms of transportation to the city.
Gary joined the wealth management industry in 1995. He enjoyed a successful career at Wachovia Securities in Greenville, where he served as the associate vice president of investments before joining Nachman Norwood & Parrott in 2005.
