A longtime resident of Greenville, Bob entered the wealth management industry in 1986. A founding partner of Nachman Norwood & Parrott Wealth Management Consultancy, he has played an integral role in the evolution of the firm from the Greenville office of Wheat First Butcher Singer to its current status as a leading Registered Investment Advisor.

Bob is a graduate of Tulane University. Bob is ranked by Forbes as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor and has been ranked among Barron’s Top 1200 Financial Advisors*.  He is a board member of the St. Francis Health System Foundation and is also a member of the Investment Committee of the Christ Church Endowment Corporation. Bob has previously served on the Boards of Artisphere, The Greenville Symphony, The Greenville County Museum of Art and Christ Church Episcopal School

*The rankings are based on data provided by thousands of advisors. Factors included in the rankings were assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record and quality of practice. Investment performance isn’t an explicit component.

Outside of the office, Bob focuses on his family, fitness and, in particular, open water swimming. He also enjoys watching movies and reading. Bob believes that Nachman Norwood & Parrott is a top competitor because they have a team who has worked together for a long time, instinctually does what is right, and actually enjoys what they do.
